Last Sunday I was to one of the best guitar concerts I’ve ever bin to – definitely!

In the course of the “Jazztage Dresden” the Jazz guitarist Joscho Stephan was playing at Schloss Lauenstein near Dresden. Besides Joscho Stephan, the  band consists of a bassist, a violist and a rhythm guitarist. All of them, amazingly good for themselves as well. You can hear a sample of them on youtube.

Christian stumbled over the advertisement of this venue while he was looking for a birthday present for a friend of him. And there were only two seats left in the very first row, directly in the middle. Lucky us! I could nearly touch the guitarists fingers while he was playing!

I was so impressed by their music, their passion, their technique… I couldn’t stop smiling. It was just so great! And yes, I did it again, I bought a CD – with four autographs

There are other great concerts coming to Dresden though the “Jazztage”, for example Al Di Miola is coming in November (when I’m already on abroad ). Additionally the International Guitar Night is touring Germany again in November, coming for example to Magdeburg, Jena and Dresden. If you like Guitar music, you will definitely love this! So check it out, its worth it.
