Freezing Copenhagen
On Friday my friend Martin, with whom I’m studying in Magdeburg, came to visit me for the weekend. His night train (was supposed to) arrive at 10am on Friday morning, and so we decided to explore Copenhagen before taking the train to Lund.
This building in Copenhagen on the picture on the left pretty much tells everything about our trip. It was freezing cold and the wind was even worse. I can really imagine, that Copenhagen is a very nice city, when its sunny and people are on the streets. But we didn’t see any of this side. Therefore all the pictures we took are not really that nice. If you still want to see them, please click here.
So Martin
and I

explored the city with our raincoats, heads and cloves… It felt like at least -5°C.
We saw the famous NyHavn

which was empty and the little mermaid

where the wind was even colder than everywhere else in the city.
During our walk through the city we found this advertisement, but that does not help when you are walking around…. Additionally everything is SUPEREXPENSIVE in Copenhagen. So having a coffee is more expensive than a good lunch in a German Restaurant… crazy.
But we where freezing so badly that we finally decided to have a tea anyways, and we spent about an hour in the Café to get warmer.

Afterwards we walked around a bit more and than decided to take the train to Lund. Back at home we had wonderful hot fruit tea which Martin imported from Germany and cooked “Ulf-Gericht” in the Anne version
PS: For Ulf

thx
I hope the some on the picture did not come from the overdimensioned exhaust pipes…?
Actually no. You shouldn’t breath out when it’s cold and you are taking a picture. And the flash doesn’t make things better 0:)
hahahhahaha
I didn’t think about that!
Now I also notice the reflections from the flash. Why do you take pictures with a flash at bright daytime?
Hm, dunno why I did so. Maybe there is a hint for this in the other pictures?
lol
